Quick answer

Six of the seven UK Gambling Commission licensees in our review index accept Apple Pay (GambleDragon operator index, 1 August 2026) — NetBet is the exception. So the interesting question is not which casino takes Apple Pay; it is what happens when you want the money back, because Apple Pay cannot receive a withdrawal.

Apple Pay is a tokenised card wrapper. It passes a device account number to the merchant instead of your real card number, which is a genuine privacy and fraud win, and it is described in Apple’s own Apple Pay documentation. But the token only works in one direction. When you cash out, the casino sends money either back to the underlying card — 2 to 5 working days through the card scheme — or to a separate method you nominate and verify. That is why this page ranks Apple Pay casinos on their payout rails.

★ = GambleDragon’s featured commercial partner. Payout figures are operator-stated medians corroborated against public payout reports, not guarantees. Apple Pay is deposit-only at all seven.

Britsino is the operator we have a commercial relationship with, and it ranks third here on payout speed rather than first. Its case for an Apple Pay user is the payout side: it carries seven payment methods, the widest of any UKGC licensee in our index, including both Open Banking and PayPal. Because Apple Pay cannot receive money, the method sitting behind it is what determines whether your withdrawal takes six hours or four days — and Britsino gives you two fast options rather than one. It also runs identity checks at a deposit threshold rather than deferring them to your first withdrawal request. Read the full Britsino review →

The picks in detail

1. Cosmobet — Apple Pay in, PayPal out in 4.2 hours

UKGC · 2,400 games · £10 minimum

The quickest stated payout in our UK index, and it supports Open Banking as well as PayPal, so you have two fast exits behind the Apple Pay deposit. Welcome wagering is 35x on bonus only, the cleaner of the two common structures. Weaknesses: no crypto, and a VIP scheme that is invite-only with undisclosed terms.

2. BetVictor — established brand, three fast rails

UKGC · 1,500 games · £10 minimum

Trading since 1946 and UKGC-licensed for the online arm. Apple Pay, Open Banking and PayPal all present, with a stated 5.0-hour payout. The library is conservative at 1,500 titles and the welcome wagering applies to bonus and deposit, which is roughly double the playthrough of a bonus-only offer.

3. Britsino — widest payment stack among UK licensees

UKGC · 2,500 games · £10 minimum

Covered above. The relevant detail for Apple Pay users: with Open Banking, PayPal, Trustly and Skrill all available for withdrawal, you are never forced into the card-refund route that turns a same-day payout into a 2-to-5-working-day wait.

4. CasinoK — Apple Pay under a Malta licence

MGA · 1,900 games · £20 minimum

Read this carefully. CasinoK is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, not the UKGC, and is not integrated with GAMSTOP. If you have self-excluded, do not deposit here. Apple Pay works, payouts run via Trustly at a stated 6.8 hours, but the welcome wagering is 40x on bonus and deposit combined and the minimum deposit is double the UK norm.

5. Mr Green — Apple Pay plus the best limit controls

UKGC · 1,600 games · £10 minimum

Slower at 8.4 hours and no Open Banking, but the responsible-gambling dashboard is the most complete we assessed: independent deposit, loss, session-time and wager limits, and a behaviour report over 7, 30 and 90 days. Biometric one-tap deposits remove friction; this tooling puts some back.

6. Highbet — newest slots, slowest UKGC payout in our index

UKGC · 1,300 games · £10 minimum

Apple Pay and PayPal only, with a stated 12-hour payout — still inside a working day, but the slowest UKGC figure we track apart from BoyleSports. The reason to be here is the Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming coverage. Welcome wagering is 40x, above peers.

7. BoyleSports — Apple Pay, but a full day to pay out

UKGC · 1,500 games · £10 minimum

A long-established Irish bookmaker with a UKGC-licensed online casino, Apple Pay support and a broad e-wallet list. Its stated 24-hour payout is four times the UKGC median in our index, so we would only point an Apple Pay user here if the sportsbook integration is the actual reason for the account.

What Apple Pay changes, and what it does not

Privacy and fraud. Your card number never reaches the casino. The merchant sees a device account number and a one-time cryptogram, so a data breach at the operator cannot expose your card. This is the strongest practical argument for using Apple Pay over typing card details.

Speed of deposit. Instant, with Face ID or Touch ID replacing 3-D Secure step-ups in most cases. That is convenient and it is also the risk: the friction that used to give you a beat to reconsider a deposit is gone. Set a deposit limit in the account area before you make the first one.

It is still a debit card underneath. UK gambling with a credit card has been banned since 14 April 2020, and that ban follows the token — a credit card in your Wallet will be declined at a UKGC casino. Only a debit card in Apple Wallet will fund a UK casino account.

It cannot pay you. Repeating it because it is the single most common surprise: choose your withdrawal rail at sign-up. Open Banking is the fastest and works in both directions (guide); PayPal is close behind but often carries a same-account rule, meaning you must have deposited by PayPal to withdraw to it (guide); Trustly moves bank-to-bank (guide); a card refund is the slow default (guide).

Google Pay is the Android equivalent and behaves identically — tokenised, deposit-only, debit cards only. Coverage across UK operators is thinner than Apple Pay’s, so check the cashier before you register rather than after.

The regulatory backdrop

The UK online sector reported £6.5bn in gross gambling yield across 32.4 million active accounts in the Gambling Commission’s industry statistics for the 2023 reporting year. Alongside the 2020 credit card ban, the other rule that matters here is mandatory GAMSTOP integration for UKGC remote licensees since 31 March 2020 — the line that separates the six UKGC entries above from the Malta-licensed one. Registration is free at gamstop.co.uk, and you can verify any operator’s licence on the Commission’s public register.

How we ranked these casinos

Every operator on this page was first confirmed as accepting Apple Pay in our operator index. Rank order is then the operator-stated median payout time to the fastest available rail, ascending, because Apple Pay itself performs identically everywhere — the deposit is not the differentiator, the exit is. Regulator quality breaks ties, UKGC above MGA. Commercial relationships play no part in the order. Full rubric: methodology and editorial policy.

Frequently asked questions

Can I withdraw casino winnings to Apple Pay?

No. Apple Pay is a tokenised way to send a card payment, not an account that can hold or receive funds. Casinos return money either to the debit card behind the token, which takes 2 to 5 working days through the card scheme, or to a separate withdrawal method you nominate and verify — PayPal, Open Banking, Trustly or a bank transfer. Set that method up when you register rather than when you win.

Which UK casinos accept Apple Pay?

In our review index, six of the seven UK Gambling Commission licensees accept it: Cosmobet, BetVictor, Britsino, Mr Green, Highbet and BoyleSports. NetBet is the exception. CasinoK also accepts Apple Pay but is licensed in Malta rather than the UK, which means no GAMSTOP integration. Coverage changes, so check the cashier page before you deposit; the figure above is accurate as of 1 August 2026.

Is Apple Pay safe for casino deposits?

From a payment-security standpoint it is safer than typing card details into a web form. The casino receives a device account number and a one-time cryptogram, never your real card number, so an operator data breach cannot expose your card. The risk it introduces is behavioural: biometric approval removes the pause that card entry used to force. Use the deposit limits in your account settings.

Can I use a credit card with Apple Pay at a UK casino?

No. Gambling with a credit card has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, and the ban applies to the card behind the token, not just to typed card numbers. A credit card held in Apple Wallet will be declined at a UKGC-licensed casino. Only a debit card will fund the account.

Is there a minimum or maximum Apple Pay deposit?

The limits come from the operator and from your own bank, not from Apple. Every UKGC casino in the table above sets a £10 minimum deposit; CasinoK, the Malta-licensed entry, sets £20. Upper limits are set by your card issuer’s daily transaction cap and by any deposit limit you have configured in the casino account. Setting your own limit lower than the operator’s is free and takes about thirty seconds.

Apple Pay or Open Banking — which should I use?

Open Banking, if the casino offers both. It is the only rail on this page that works in both directions: you authorise from inside your banking app, the money moves over Faster Payments in seconds, and withdrawals come back the same way. Apple Pay wins only on the deposit side, and its convenience does nothing for the part of the process people actually complain about. Of the operators above, Cosmobet, BetVictor and Britsino support both.
