Quick answer: no casino “accepts Revolut” as a method

This is the thing most listings get wrong. Casinos do not integrate Revolut the way they integrate PayPal or Trustly. Your Revolut card is a debit card, so it works anywhere Visa Debit or Mastercard debit is accepted, and your Revolut account is a supported bank inside most open-banking flows. There is no separate “Revolut” button in the cashier, and if one appears, treat the site with suspicion.

That makes the practical question: which UK-licensed casinos take debit cards and open banking, and how fast do they pay you back? Nine of the twenty-nine UK-facing operators in our review index list Visa Debit specifically, including all seven UK Gambling Commission licensees (GambleDragon operator index, 1 August 2026). The eight fastest of them are below.

Two Revolut-specific things then matter more than the brand you pick: the gambling block in the app, and the fact that a card refund is the slowest way to get paid.

★ = GambleDragon’s featured commercial partner. Payout figures are operator-stated medians to the fastest available rail, corroborated against public payout reports; a refund to the card itself takes 2 to 5 working days at any of them.

Britsino is the one operator here we earn commission from, and it ranks fourth on a page ordered by payout speed. Its Revolut-relevant strength is optionality: it is the only UKGC licensee in our index listing both Visa Debit and Mastercard, and it pairs them with Open Banking, PayPal, Trustly and Skrill for the exit — seven methods in total, the widest UK stack we track. Since Revolut issues both Visa and Mastercard products depending on the account and region, that dual acceptance removes one common cause of a declined deposit. Read the full Britsino review →

The picks in detail

1. Cosmobet — card in, Open Banking out in 4.2 hours

UKGC · 2,400 games · £10

Fastest stated payout in our UK index. If you fund with a Revolut card, withdraw through Open Banking or PayPal rather than back to the card — same operator, hours instead of days. Welcome wagering is 35x on bonus only. No crypto; VIP terms are undisclosed.

2. BetVictor — the conservative choice

UKGC · 1,500 games · £10

Trading since 1946, UKGC-licensed online, with Open Banking and PayPal available as fast exits behind a card deposit. The library is modest and the welcome wagering applies to bonus and deposit combined, roughly doubling the playthrough versus a bonus-only structure.

3. NetBet — most alternatives if a card is declined

UKGC · 1,100 games · £10

PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly and Paysafecard alongside Visa Debit — the widest fallback set in our UK group, which matters if your Revolut card is declined on a gambling merchant category. Lowest welcome wagering we track at 30x bonus only. Smallest library here.

4. Britsino — Visa and Mastercard, four fast exits

UKGC · 2,500 games · £10

Covered above. Also relevant: verification runs at a deposit threshold rather than at your first withdrawal, so a card-funded account is not sitting on an unverified identity when you finally want paying.

5. CasinoK — Malta licence, read the caveat

MGA · 1,900 games · £20

Licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, not the UKGC, and not integrated with GAMSTOP. If you have self-excluded, do not deposit here. Card deposits and Trustly payouts at a stated 6.8 hours; 40x wagering on bonus and deposit; £20 minimum.

6. Chanze — euro-denominated, two bank rails

MGA · 2,200 games · £20 (€)

Also Malta-licensed and outside GAMSTOP. Strong studio mix including Yggdrasil. Because deposits are in euro, a Revolut account is actually a reasonable fit — you can hold or convert EUR in-app rather than paying your bank’s conversion margin — but the licence trade-off is the more important fact.

7. Mr Green — best self-control tooling

UKGC · 1,600 games · £10

Slower at 8.4 hours, but the operator-side limit controls pair well with a bank-side gambling block: deposit, loss, session-time and wager limits set independently, plus a 7/30/90-day behaviour report. Two independent brakes are better than one.

8. Highbet — newest slots, slowest UKGC payout here

UKGC · 1,300 games · £10

Twelve hours is the slowest UKGC figure we track apart from BoyleSports. Included for Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming coverage on a UK-regulated site. Welcome wagering is 40x, above peers.

Using Revolut sensibly at a casino

The gambling block is the most useful feature here. Revolut lets you switch off gambling merchant transactions from inside the app, and lifting the block is deliberately not instant — there is a cooling-off delay before it takes effect. Check the current mechanics in Revolut’s own help centre rather than trusting a listing site, including this one, on the detail. Used with a deposit limit at the operator, it is a genuinely effective two-layer brake.

It stacks with GAMSTOP rather than replacing it. A card block stops payments from one account; GAMSTOP stops you opening or using an account at every UKGC-licensed site and has been mandatory for those licensees since 31 March 2020. If you want a real break, do both: gamstop.co.uk plus the in-app block.

Credit is not an option. Gambling with a credit card has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020. Revolut credit products cannot be used at a UKGC casino, and the operators above accept debit only.

Declines are normal and rarely mean fraud. Card issuers, including app-based ones, apply their own rules to the gambling merchant category. If a deposit fails, check the gambling block first, then whether the card is credit rather than debit, then your own deposit limit. Switching to Open Banking usually identifies the cause immediately.

Do not cash out to the card if you can avoid it. A card refund is 2 to 5 working days through the card scheme no matter how quickly the casino approved it. Every operator above offers at least one rail that pays in hours — see our open banking guide, PayPal guide and debit card guide for the comparison.

The regulatory backdrop

The UK online sector reported £6.5bn in gross gambling yield across 32.4 million active accounts in the Gambling Commission’s industry statistics for the 2023 reporting year. The rails on this page ride on open banking’s growth: Open Banking Limited reported the UK passing 10 million active open banking users in early 2024, and app-first banks are heavily represented in that number. Verify any operator’s licence on the Commission’s public register before depositing.

How we ranked these casinos

Inclusion required confirmed Visa Debit acceptance in our operator index, since that — not a “Revolut” integration — is what actually makes a Revolut card work at a casino. Rank order is the operator-stated median payout time to the fastest available rail, ascending, with regulator quality breaking ties (UKGC above MGA). We deliberately do not rank on card-refund speed, because it is functionally identical everywhere at 2 to 5 working days. Commercial relationships play no part. Frequently asked questions

Can I use Revolut at a UK online casino?

Yes, in the same way you would use any debit card: your Revolut card is a Visa or Mastercard debit product and works at any casino that accepts debit cards. In our review index that is nine UK-facing operators including all seven UK Gambling Commission licensees, as of 1 August 2026. You can also fund many of them through open banking with Revolut selected as your bank. There is no separate “Revolut” payment button and you should be cautious of any site that shows one.

Why is my Revolut card being declined at a casino?

Most often because the gambling block is switched on in the Revolut app — that is its purpose, and it is worth pausing to ask whether you turned it on for a reason. Other causes are using a credit rather than debit product, which is prohibited for UK gambling, hitting a deposit limit you set at the casino, or the operator not accepting your specific card scheme. Trying an open banking deposit at the same site usually isolates which of the four it is.

How does the Revolut gambling block work?

It blocks transactions to merchants categorised as gambling, and turning it off is subject to a cooling-off delay rather than taking effect immediately. That delay is the point: it removes the ability to act on an impulse. The exact behaviour is set by Revolut and changes over time, so check the Revolut help centre for current detail. It is a bank-side control and works alongside, not instead of, GAMSTOP and operator deposit limits.

Can I withdraw casino winnings to Revolut?

Yes, either as a refund to the card, which takes 2 to 5 working days through the card scheme, or as a bank transfer to your Revolut account details where the operator supports open banking or standard bank withdrawals. The transfer route is much faster. Note that the gambling block affects outgoing payments to gambling merchants, not incoming ones, so a withdrawal will still arrive with the block enabled.

Is Revolut safer than a high-street debit card for gambling?

The payment security is comparable — both are card rails with the same fraud protections. Where an app-first account has an edge is control: instant freezing, per-category blocking and immediate spend notifications are all in one place. Where it has no edge at all is the operator side. Whatever card you use, only deposit at a site whose licence you have checked on the regulator’s public register.

Which is faster at these casinos, card or open banking?

Open banking, by a wide margin, on the withdrawal side. Deposits are effectively instant on both. Cashing out to a card means 2 to 5 working days regardless of operator, while an open banking or PayPal payout at the sites above lands in a stated median of 6.0 hours. If a casino offers both, use the card only for the deposit and nominate a bank or wallet route for the exit.
