Quick answer: no casino “accepts Revolut” as a method

This is the thing most listings get wrong. Casinos do not integrate Revolut the way they integrate PayPal or Trustly. Your Revolut card is a debit card, so it works anywhere Visa Debit or Mastercard debit is accepted, and your Revolut account is a supported bank inside most open-banking flows. There is no separate “Revolut” button in the cashier, and if one appears, treat the site with suspicion.

Using Revolut sensibly at a casino

The gambling block is the most useful feature here. Revolut lets you switch off gambling merchant transactions from inside the app, and lifting the block is deliberately not instant — there is a cooling-off delay before it takes effect. Check the current mechanics in Revolut’s own help centre rather than trusting a listing site, including this one, on the detail. Used with a deposit limit at the operator, it is a genuinely effective two-layer brake.

It stacks with GAMSTOP rather than replacing it. A card block stops payments from one account; GAMSTOP stops you opening or using an account at every UKGC-licensed site and has been mandatory for those licensees since 31 March 2020. Yes, in the same way you would use any debit card: your Revolut card is a Visa or Mastercard debit product and works at any casino that accepts debit cards. Why is my Revolut card being declined at a casino?

Most often because the gambling block is switched on in the Revolut app — that is its purpose, and it is worth pausing to ask whether you turned it on for a reason. Other causes are using a credit rather than debit product, which is prohibited for UK gambling, hitting a deposit limit you set at the casino, or the operator not accepting your specific card scheme. How does the Revolut gambling block work?
